Pika-piii?

Meet Teardrop! My second faceup, and first little teeny tiny BJD! He was a bit of a challenge to work on, but my favourite part about bjds is doing the faceup and learning from previous ones. I learned soooo many things since doing my first one, and even more since just recently completing my third! I think faceups will be the bane of my wallet's existence!  

Some new things I tried with this little guy's faceup were adding glitter above his eyes and a little underneath, adding freckles, and painting his eyelash and eyebrow hairs with a paint brush instead of using watercolor pencil. I find that using the pencil directly can sometimes scratch the pastel and leave unfixable marks, so what I did differently was grab my favourite paint brush for details, a small cup of water, and dipped the watercolor pencil into the water and smeared it all over a sheet of paper (something non water absorbant would've been better, ex: a sheet of plastic - but I used what I had near me) and dipped my brush in that liquid to paint his brows and lashes!
